Ken Langdon

Ken Langdon is the co-founder of Langdon Flynn Communications and oversees the agency’s Hospitality Division. Prior to the creation of Langdon Flynn, Langdon founded Heat Communications, a Las Vegas-based PR and Social Media agency that specialized in the food and beverage and luxury lifestyle industries. Langdon relocated to Las Vegas from Southern California to take the role as Director of Public Relations at Caesars Palace where his department championed external publicity efforts with an emphasis on its non-gaming amenities including Restaurant Guy Savoy, Rao’s, Payard Pâtisserie and Bistro, Bradley Ogden and Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill. Under Langdon’s direction, the Caesars Palace PR team was named the small corporate communications team of the year (2008) by PRWeek magazine. Langdon’s career began with The Walt Disney Company where he spent time at both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California, working on numerous special events and attraction openings including the resort’s Millennium Celebration, 100 Years of Magic, and Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary. Langdon gained valuable international experience as a member of Hong Kong Disneyland’s opening PR team, planning and executing media events while working with journalists from Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and mainland China. While living in Boston, Langdon developed the external communications department within Best Buddies International, where he served as Media Relations Director and generated publicity through community-based fundraisers and special events. An avid home cook and overall gastronome, Langdon also oversees the agency’s restaurant consulting division, advising on everything from openings, brand enhancements, menu design, promotions and more. Originally from Clio, Michigan, Langdon earned his B.A. in Journalism from Michigan State University and lives near Orlando with his wife and children. Steve Flynn

Steve Flynn is the co-founder of Langdon Flynn Communications and oversees the agency’s Entertainment and Sports division. Prior to starting Langdon Flynn, Flynn was the founder and President of Stephen Flynn Enterprises (SFE), a Las Vegas-based agency that handled some of the largest sporting events and entertainers in Las Vegas and the country for almost a decade. With well over 100 World Championship Boxing and MMA events under their belt, SFE became the go-to agency for handling publicity efforts and fight-week coordination for some of the biggest events in the sport of boxing. Having worked at such historic venues as Madison Square Garden, The Staples Center, Mandalay Bay and MGM Grand, Flynn worked side-by-side with boxing and sports writers from all over the world on events such as De la Hoya vs. Trinidad, Jones vs. Tarver, Holyfield vs. Lewis, Barrera vs. Morales, Pacquiao vs. Morales, De la Hoya vs. Hopkins and Hopkins vs. Calzaghe. In addition to the sport-based PR, Steve has handled the public relations for some of Las Vegas’ brightest entertainment stars. He worked as the personal PR rep for Criss Angel for four years, where he helped oversee the logistics for the shooting of Seasons 3 and 4 of “Criss Angel—MINDFREAK” on A&E Network as well as the launch of Criss Angel Believe with Cirque du Soleil at Luxor Las Vegas. He has worked with Carrot Top for more than seven years, helping book appearances on some of the biggest shows on television including "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "Late Night with Conan O’Brien", "Live with Regis and Kelly", "Last Comic Standing", "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" and "The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson". Flynn also handled the PR efforts for Holly Madison during her move to Las Vegas. Working closely with the star helped Holly achieve the title of the first ever “Miss Las Vegas.” He has also worked with high profile shows such as Human Nature and VERONIC Voices, spearheaded the PR launch of the Life Is Beautiful Festival and coordinated the opening of Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. Michelle St. Angelo

Michelle St. Angelo is the agency’s Vice President, but is more commonly known among her colleagues as the Little General. Don’t let her petite frame fool you, this go-getter is in charge of generating new business, managing strategy and workflow for all existing agency business, fostering community and professional relationships, and ensuring continued employee progress and well-being. With more than a decade of public relations and marketing experience, Michelle St. Angelo has established herself as one of the top industry professionals in Las Vegas. After many years of agency experience, where she serviced clients in varying industries and developed company-wide social media services, St. Angelo quenched her thirst for entrepreneurship by starting her own consultancy (Karma Communications) in August of 2010. Finding success in partnering with clients in the nonprofit, hospitality, entertainment and tourism sectors, Karma Communications quickly developed a reputation for providing creative and effective word-of-mouth strategies. She moved her business to Langdon Flynn Communications in September of 2011. A native of New York, St. Angelo received a double degree from Indiana University in English and Psychology, and is a certified Yoga Instructor. Rosalind Congleton

Rosalind Congleton is Account Director of Langdon Flynn’s hospitality division, bringing over a decade of experience specializing in food and beverage and hospitality public relations. Rosalind relishes the chance to marry her love of hotels, restaurants and travel with her job as a PR professional. In her role, she works with some of the country’s leading celebrity chefs, including Wolfgang Puck, Mary Sue Milliken, Susan Feniger, Rick Moonen, Tony Gemignani, David Varley and renowned hotels like The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas. She enjoys fulfilling her appetite for working together with an amazing internal team of PR professionals and clients who share a common vision for all things food, beverage and hospitality. Throughout her career, she has been able to cultivate and maintain relationships with the industry’s leading influencers and media professionals through thoughtful, on-trend storytelling. Prior to joining Langdon Flynn Communications, Rosalind began her PR journey at Caesars Palace and was part of the PR Week award-winning team that launched a variety of new amenities including Restaurant Guy Savoy, Rao’s, Qua Baths and Spa and Color – A Salon by Michael Boychuck. She gained valuable experience and contacts working as the property liaison on major TV and motion picture productions including The Hangover, Iron Man, The Sopranos, Search for the Next Food Network Star, The View and a variety of live news coverage with Today Show, CNN, Fox News National and ESPN. Ceatta Bogataj

Ceatta Bogataj (See-ah-ta Bo-ga-tie) is an Account Director with the agency’s sports division, specifically professional boxing. As a former Director of Operations at SFE for nearly a decade, she shifted her focus to the sports division and now spends 80% of her time working on the road. Her experience in handling logistics and credentials for big events is unparalleled. Bogataj has managed media centers and credential operations for some of the biggest live sporting events in the US, Latin America and China. She has been instrumental in reintroducing boxing to SE Asia and has shared her system of operations with numerous overseas teams. Bogataj works hand in hand with the countries’ most prestigious sports reporters and prides herself on providing the best media relations in the industry. She has worked closely with some of the highest profile promoters and venues in the boxing industry, including: Top Rank Boxing, Don King Productions, Gary Shaw Productions and Banner Promotions, Madison Square Garden, Staples Center, The Alamodome, AT&T Stadium, Yankee Stadium, The Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City as well as international fights in Puerto Rico, Mexico and Macau, China. Calling Las Vegas home for over 20 years, Bogataj was born and raised near Cleveland, OH to Slovenian immigrants. She spent many of her childhood summers in a small farming village in Slovenia, which instilled a great love of nature and simplicity in her. Kristin Weddingfeld

Kristin Weddingfeld is a PR Account Executive with a focus on the agency’s entertainment clients. Prior to joining Langdon Flynn, Weddingfeld worked as a Public Relations Specialist for Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas where she assisted with the publicity for a variety of areas including special events, entertainment and F&B. Weddingfeld started her career by running away with the circus and joining the public relations team at Cirque du Soleil. While working her way to Assistant Publicist for The Beatles LOVE she was able to assist with many large scale events such as world premieres both in Las Vegas and Los Angeles as well as orchestrate performances on nationally broadcast programs like “Good Morning America” and “America’s Got Talent.” A rare native of Las Vegas, Weddingfeld graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.A in Journalism and Media Studies. Currently as the agency’s unofficial social chair, she can often be found trying out the newest lounge or restaurant in town (all in the name of research, of course), perfecting the latest number for her karaoke repertoire or coming up with her next memorable party theme that can range from annual crawfish boils to planning the world’s largest drag show. Sara Ryan

Sara Ryan is an Account Executive for Langdon Flynn’s hospitality division, bringing over seven years of experience in public relations, journalism and corporate communications. She puts her love of all things food and beverage to good use at the agency, while representing notable client brands including Border Grill, Minus5 Ice Bar, Rao’s Restaurants, Rick Moonen’s rm seafood, Tom’s Urban, and Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining, to name a few. Also known as “I.T.,” Sara is a computer geek at heart. She often dabbles in troubleshooting her colleague’s computer-related problems, producing event invitations by way of graphic design, and is always up-to-date on the newest gadgets. Prior to joining Langdon Flynn, she worked as a Public Relations Assistant for Forte Creative Media, where she promoted health and lifestyle brands in Las Vegas, including Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, Smiles for Survivors, and XYIENCE. A native of Northern California, Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications, with an emphasis on Journalism, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Beyond all things PR, she enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes, watching the latest featured films, binge watching shows on Netflix, cheering on her hometown teams, and spending time with her husband, Paul and two dogs, Jack and Zoe. Stephen Will is an Account Executive at Langdon Flynn Communications, where he is responsible for handling accounts agency wide. Whether he’s opening productions on the Las Vegas Strip or running red carpet events, Will is constantly developing client stories and securing coverage for them in the places they are most impactful. From Buzzfeed and PerezHilton.com to Associated Press and Washington Post, Will’s extensive knowledge of the media enables him to deliver meaningful results. Past and present clients have included entertainment powerhouse AEG Live, “PANDA!” - the first Chinese production to take up a Las Vegas residency, and “LIPSHTICK – The Perfect Shade of Standup,” the acclaimed all-female comedy series at The Venetian Las Vegas. Will relocated to Las Vegas from New York City, where he worked in communications for notable nonprofit organizations including the American Civil Liberties Union and Doctors Without Borders. Will began his public relations career in the publishing industry, where he represented key thought leaders in the fields of business, personal finance, and literary fiction for the major publishing houses FT Press, Wiley, and Random House, among others. A graduate of McGill University in Montreal, he holds a BA in Political Science and English Literature.
